The Sled is a product of BBC's driven forward thinking of creative building without sacrificing functionality. The ProStreet Sled's name comes from the long and low, sleek and bold, drop-seat profile style design. In other words, it's a Hot Rod Sled! For The Sled, BBC borrowed their Merc tank and stretched it as well as borrowing the Merc's trademark dual radius shotgun style downtube but subtracting length for a total of 3" under stock length which makes it low and bad. To make it long, BBC added 6" of stretch to the backbone with a total rake of 50°. The Sled comes with your choice of the Merc swingarm or the BBC's patented 'Venom' swingarm. An all new oil tank and handlebars were designed for The Sled. With the drop seat, long and low chassis and the fat tire, the BBC crew says it rides like a slammed lead sled hot rod ready to take on the long miles and stares.
The Sled comes in four versions… The 300 version comes with a 300 series rear tire while the 250, you guessed it, comes with a 250. The massive 300mm meat is turned by a Baker® right side drive 6 speed tranny behind the new proprietary S&S-BBC 100" SMOOTH polished low vibration motor. BDL® open belt drives come with the kits while enclosed primaries are mounted in the factory builds. The 250 version comes with a left side drive Baker® 6-speed tranny. This all applies for a chopper version. A choice of five Performance Machine® billet wheel designs, BBC's BrakeDrive system in the back and P.M.'s famous 4 piston brake up front come standard. BBC's chrome frontend, new Sled bars and tons of other high-end components help this bike to be the premier of all unassembled bikes.
